Complexion Problems

drgreggjantz | November 02, 2006 11:50

Anonymous Post-Question: I had an ED for a long time and struggle with cystic acne. Topical treatments don't work. I'm told its hormonal and due to high progesterone levels the middle to the end of my menstrual cycle (which is normal.) My understanding based on my own research is that it could be a vitamin A or B vitamin deficiencies. Can you shed some light on the topic? Thanks!

At times it can be due to Zinc dehydration and toxicity...and a host of other hormonal issues. If this is a real concern, you might check on getting a hormonal profil and biochemical testing.

If you go to www.aplaceofhope.com/organic.html there is information on this. Regarding toxicity, this can be caused by lack of nutrients and dehydration. For example, many times those who are anorexic can experience kidney failure because of a high level of toxins. Toxicity is resolved by proper eating and the taking of supplements to reverse the damage done. At times Vitamin B is helpful. Zinc dehydration can be a symptom of an eating disorder. There are zinc supplements that can be taken for this.
